EDM, IDM, Home Listening . . . with a heavy dose of Hindustani music. The drumming in Idaho Falls, Coeur D'Alene, and Mountain Home are straight up tabla drumming, kaida/palta/rela processes that I learned from Pandit Sharda Sahai. The other drumming is rooted in EDM, with some contemporary this and that. These drumming tracks were constructed from the ground up, note by note, no samples. The melodies and harmonies were made the same way, with entire takes. No cutting and pasting on this recording, just real music making via a computer and synths.
